Woodart Workshops - Inspirations in Wood (07 April - 16 May)

Woodart Workshops are proud to present their latest exhibition, “Inspirations in Wood.” This showcase celebrates the creativity, craftsmanship, and passion of our members, bringing together a diverse collection of pieces that highlight the beauty and versatility of wood as an artistic medium.

Peter Appleton with Origin stories of Islands on the edge of the Known World (07 April - 16 May)

The myths and stories of the pre-history of these islands carried value to the people that lived there. Their shared story as a people provided the glue that bound them; a common shared narrative that helped to turn a chaotic world into a coherent shared narrative that reveals their collective norms and shared values. So, stories can be powerful and shape an identity, make sense of the world, give a sense of self, dictate beliefs and influence behaviour and actions.

Elena McLaren (07 April - 16 May)

This exhibition presents a collection of paintings in a combined technique of hot and cold batik on silk, created by the artist Elena McLaren, who explores color, texture, and form through the traditional wax batik technique.

Henry Joynes - HIJI - 14 (07 April - 16 May)

HIJI - 14 is a fourteen part portrait exhibition on individuality and Expression; I paint people with editing faces that are full of character to emphasise their individual identities through painting

The Hooton Art Group 2026 (07 April - 16 May)

We are a diverse group of painters represented here in the variety of work exhibited. The underlying approach is broad and experimental with a view to develop a personal and individual visual language.
