The first Townswomen's Guild was formed in Hayward's Heath, quickly followed by Burnt Oak, Moulsecoomb and Romsey - by the end of the year 26 Guilds had been formed.
The TWG meet at 7:30pm at the Community centre, every 3rd Tuesday in the month, when a guest speaker attends these meetings.
The Guild has a choir who entertain people locally. New members are always welcome. Outings and events are held throughout the year.
One of the purposes of the Guild is to promote continued education of women through interesting speakers and activities, and to form a bond of friendship between the members.
