With the hot dry summer we had all the fruits are smaller and ripened early this year. In the heat many of our apples fell off th@@e trees prematurely in July and August.
But now with the fresh rain falling those apples still left on the trees will start to swell and probably split their skins making them unsuitable for storing and keeping over winter. So now is the time to use them for juicing !
